Each partner church or organization can help lead a neighborhood, recruit volunteers, identify a project captain, gather project needs, and help tell the story after City Serve Day.

  • Minimum goal: 5+ churches or organizations
  • Funded core: 45 volunteers, 16 household projects, 4 cleanup areas
  • Each project should have a clear captain before event week

Frequently asked questions.

Who can volunteer?

Individuals, families, church groups, businesses, and community organizations are welcome. Youth should serve with parent or leader supervision.

What kind of work will we do?

Most projects are cleanup, beautification, yard care, minor exterior help, prayer walks, hospitality, check-in, and support roles.

What should I bring?

Wear clothes that can get dirty, closed-toe shoes, work gloves, water, sunscreen, and any tools you marked on the form.

What if my preferred project is full?

You can join that project's waiting list or allow organizers to place you where help is needed most.

Can my church lead a project?

Yes. Partner churches and organizations can recruit volunteers, appoint project captains, and help own a neighborhood or project lane.

Will there be check-in?

Yes. Volunteers should check in before assignments so organizers can track attendance, hours, shirts, and reporting metrics.
